Good material -quite thick.I haven't worn this yet in the heat but I feel would protect me from the sun. I ordered a M/L and it is slightly to big but I thought the small would not fit. I am a size 12 and 5ft7 if this has any bearing on hat size.

I bought this hat in preparation for a trip next year it’s really cute but I did find it a little on the big side, have kept it and bought the smaller size too.
